Founded by Kenny Gales — a veteran firefighter with more than a decade of service — Fallen Brothers makes whiskey with a purpose. A portion of every bottle goes to The BackStoppers, supporting the families of police officers, firefighters, and first responders who fall in the line of duty. Crafted in honor. Shared in remembrance.

Nobleton's Distilling House
Union, MO
A true estate distillery in Franklin County. Founder and head distiller Demetrius Cain works heirloom grains his Scottish immigrant family has been planting for nearly two centuries — the Cain family first paid federal whiskey tax in Missouri in 1824. Every step happens on site: fermentation, distillation, maturation, bottling. Tasting room open Friday and Saturday. Tours on Saturday. The Hound met the founders at a The Brothers tasting and walked out a believer.
Why It Matters
You can taste the difference between a sourced spirit and one a family has been growing grain for since the Jackson administration. Nobleton’s is the rare Missouri operation that controls the whole arc — farm to barrel to glass — and does not need to dress it up. Worth the hour drive west of St. Louis. Go on a Saturday. Nobleton’s partnership with Southeast Missouri State University. Alumni-owned. Seven-year wheated whiskey, 100 proof, Missouri-grown grain. The Presidential Reserve was hand-selected by Dr. Carlos Vargas, then SEMO president. A portion of every bottle funds SEMO scholarships. The Hound met the founders at the The Brothers tasting — the field report is in the journal.
